Constructed from High density polyethylene (HDPE) which is designed to wear not shatter in the event of a spill. Fitted with a removable end cap which hides the bobbins fittings. The mounting bolt is made from a particular grade of steel that helps absorb and impact and will bend not break or twist its mounting point on the bike, usually an engine mount.

R&G also offers “no drill” kits for riders who don’t want to alter their motorcycle. To avoid cutting the fairings these kits come with sturdy metal work bespoke to each model of bike that navigates from the mounting points to gaps in the fairings, allowing Aero crash protectors to be securely fitted without cutting or drilling.

Crash Protection Classic Style

R & G’s highly successful and popular standard round bobbins. The original crash protection began in 1999 with a round shaped protector constructed from High density polyethylene (HDPE) which is designed to wear not shatter in the event of a spill. Fitted with a removable end cap which hides the bobbins fittings.

With this initial bung R&G introduce two industry firsts, by adding a metal sleeve into the bung it increased strength and allowed the fitter to torque the protector. The second was to use a particular grade of steel bolt that helps absorb and impact and will bend not break or twist its mounting point on the bike, usually an engine mount.
